At The Wilderness Collective, we believe that mentoring, support and education are fundamental to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. From business planning and marketing strategies to financial management and networking we are here to support and guide you on your journey towards success.
Remote Microenterprises Australia (RMA) is our flagship initiative for remote, rural and regional women, by those that have been there before. We help women transform their ambitious ideas into microbusinesses that work. We’re here to walk beside you, offering encouragement, tools, and a community of supporters as you nurture your ideas.
Through a series of masterclasses, peer coaching, snippets, e-kits and community; this initiative is one that grows with you and builds connections with like-minded women that understand the unique challenges of doing business in rural communities.

Living in a remote community, businesses often need to think creatively about scale and audience.
The Wilderness Collective offers support packages for remote and rural businesses and community groups that need someone who understands the dynamics and nuances of living in small towns – but ultimately engaging with the world.
The Community Rejuvenation and Capacity Building initiative aims to foster social enterprise opportunities in Mallacoota while exploring innovative regional possibilities.
Build the capacity and capability of our town to foster an enterprise culture.
Enable a year-round sustainable economy and employment opportunities for our locals.

Wilderness Collective is supporting the Social Enterprise Schools program at Mallacoota P-12 College (delivered by the Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship.)
We have a local place based facilitator in Mallacoota to deliver Social Enterprise Schools and continue growing this program amongst our community. In 2025, SES students prepared merchandise for Bastion Fest, giving back to arts/culture programs in our community.
It’s a collaborative, hands-on program that empowers young people to make a difference to causes they care about through running a social enterprise.
